auto-change wallpaper
For a long time I've kept just one wallpaper as I don't use desktop icons and run 95% of applications Maximized all the time
Well I've started to use lxterminal in transparent mode so thought I put some effort in to auto-changing wallpapers
I have a my openbox autostart script load a script and and it gives me a new wallpaper every minute. The only issues I had were tweaking the themes so all the wallpapers worked, and ending the session fails to quit the script! This means if I exit and log back in I have the script run again so the paper changes faster.
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/93962/whats-the-problem-with-this-script-to-change-wallpaper
I modified a gtk-theme, openbox theme settings, tint2, conky and xboomx based around 4 main colours

LCD emac gets a Dragora rebirth
My LCD emac gets a rebirth after I broke the power button. This time it was a necessity as my Girl friend
Wanted her monitor back and my PC out of the office!
Fine in to the workshop it went..... for a makeover :) Added one old sony vaio without screen, Dragora 2.2 and my usual openbox, tint, rox setup. I left the rear cover off as there was no nice (easy way) to get to the the DVD drive.
Not pretty but it works fine. Boot screen.
Loaded
Now happily back in the office....

Openbox menus screen shots Dragora2
Openbox menus screen shots
If you like Rox-filer openbox and tint see my posts here.
My openbox menu configs are here
http://paste.debian.net/15671/
My openbox rc configs are here
http://paste.debian.net/15673/
and the menu-generator schema.pl looks like this
http://paste.debian.net/15674/
As anyone that has found this site will know I like openbox tint2 and Rox-filer so I thought I'd better update
After much fiddling I manages to improve my dynamic menus on openbox. I used
for the dynamic menu. Very fast it is too, and with a nice license. Gpl3. What I really like is it lets you add other scripts and custom entries to your openbox menu by editing it's schenma.pl. All from the menu. Nice
I added obbrowser for dynamic file access.
Then my beloved Rox-filer bookmarks script
More scripts here:
But some are without a license so useless to me. dbbolton has told on irc me his are MIT.
"[2013-07-10 20:59:05] <dbbolton> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIT_license#License_terms"
That's rather cool as I wanted a system viewer in the menu and he's written one. :)
After a bit of configuring
